Editorial policy
Clear Arts Spotlight aims to make visual art easier to approach without flattening its complexity. We use clear language, keep observation distinct from interpretation and take responsibility for correcting errors.
Accuracy and context
We check names, terminology and factual statements before publication and provide enough context for readers to understand the point being made. Where interpretations may differ, we describe them as readings rather than settled facts. We do not invent sources, quotations, biographies or details about artworks.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for the publication’s readers and subject matter. A partnership or commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and we do not promise favourable coverage in exchange for support.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear attribution, contact us through the Contact page with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers.
Paid and partner material
Paid placements and collaborative material are identified plainly so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial content. The label appears with the relevant material; partner involvement does not imply editorial endorsement.
